Drew Randall, AIA
Restaurant and hospitality design
“I enjoy having the opportunity to contribute to and improve the built environment, and to bring about social and environmental change in our society.”
Drew has over 25 years of architectural design experience and has served as project manager and lead architect for a variety of commercial and residential projects. Prior to settling in Austin, he worked for Gresham Smith and Partners, an award winning firm based in Nashville, Tennessee. Among other commercial projects he worked on the design team for the new airport in Richmond, Virginia.
Drew’s focus today is on restaurant and hospitality design that is focused on creating sustainable environments suited to their context. “I bring my years of experience with working in restaurants, as well as working as an architect for restaurant companies, to our work with restaurant & hospitality design in Austin,” he says. A number of these projects involve incorporating portions of existing structures into concepts that are environmentally conscious and designed for 21st century uses and needs.
Drew knows that no two projects are the same, and he applies his years of experience and proven track record to a fresh view of each new undertaking. Clients know that they can trust him to maintain a high standard through each phase of the design process, and that he will be a valued collaborator during the building process.
Memorable Project: The Dogwood Midtown
“This was a very challenging project that involved using some of the original elements of a midcentury building to drive the design of the new restaurant.”
